Descriptions of upcoming retreats:
Sacred Stillness – In a world full of distractions competing for our our attention we are invited to slow down and be still and remember we were made for so much more than a busy schedule, screens and the commodification of all things. Join us for a day to re-center our souls around what truly matters and to recognize the transformative power of inner stillness waking us up to who God has created us to be. Led by Matt Krick on January 18, 2020.
Sacred Stories – Story is the language of the heart. When we lose touch with God’s epic story shaping our own stories we lose touch with our hearts and the language of the soul the Spirit is whispering into us. Join us for a day to reflect on the intersection of God’s story and our own stories and the invitation to live into the story God is constantly inviting us all to embrace. Led by Matt Krick on February 22, 2020.
Sacred Senses – How often do we stop and pay attention to the gift of the five senses God has given us? How often do we reflect on those senses in a deeper way and practice smelling, tasting, feeling, hearing and seeing with our hearts and souls? Join us for an experience of the senses – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. This opportunity is sure to draw out more of God’s gifts in and through you. Led by Matt Krick on April 18, 2020 from 9:30am-3pm.
This retreat will be held in the Bahia Clubhouse next to a bird sanctuary and beautiful wetlands managed by the Marin Audubon Society. A light lunch will be provided.
Sacred Sabbath – In a fast paced culture with full calendars we are reminded of the gift of rest. What is it that causes us to feel guilty if we are not constantly busy? We have been invited into a rhythm of 6 days of work and 1 day of rest – a day that looks different than all the others – one that celebrates God’s gifts of liberation and creation. Come enjoy a Sabbath day where we reflect and remember that we were made for more than constantly being on the move. Come experience a day to restore your soul. Led by Matt Krick. Date TBD.
